GSSSB's head clerk exam of 12 December 2021 (186 posts, 88,000+ candidates) was cancelled on 21 December after evidence emerged that the paper had been leaked the previous night and sold for Rs 6–12 lakh. Police arrested eight people in Sabarkantha and a staffer of the Ahmedabad printing press contracted by the board. The re-exam was held in 2022; the state promised fast-track prosecution.
